<p>A delegation from the African Development Bank led by its president Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, paid a visit to Morocco, focusing on Education and Agriculture.</p>

<p>A discovery of UM6P campus and the components of the Green City of Benguerir were scheduled. It was an opportunity to discuss areas of collaboration, focusing on the skills and know-how of UM6P and OCP in the field of green energy and Agriculture.</p>

<p>Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and the Dutch company Proton Ventures BV have signed, in the presence of the Institute Research Energy Solar et Energy Nouvelles (IRESEN) and Mr. Fred Duijn, charge d'affaires of the Dutch Embassy, an agreement for the construction of the Green Ammonia Pilot at the OCP Group chemical complex in Jorf Lasfar.</p>

<p>La deuxième édition de la Journée doctorale de l’UM6P « UM6P Doctoral Day » a rassemblé plus de 260 doctorants et des chercheurs seniors de l’université dans un rassemblement d'échanges scientifiques. UM6P Doctoral Day a permis de percevoir de plus près la grande diversité des disciplines scientifiques représentées au sein de l’UM6P. <p>L’UM6P, à travers la Chaire Africaine d’Innovation et de Management Durable (CAIMD), la Bourse de Casablanca, Finance Montréal et l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) ont organisé le 17 juin 2022, sur le campus de Benguerir, la remise des prix aux entreprises gagnantes de la deuxième édition annuelle du « Concours pour le meilleur rapport de développement durable» à savoir : Auto Hall, Bank of Africa, Disway, Itissalat Al-Maghrib, Jet Contractors, Lesieur Cristal, Résidences Dar Saada S.A, SMI et Sonasid.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On May 19th, UM6P’s commitment to international academic cooperation gained further momentum. Leading a special delegation from the Grand Canyon State, University of Arizona President Robert C. Robbins paid a visit to our Benguerir campus to seal a multifaceted strategic agreement in mutual areas of interest.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Signed by Mr. Robbins and UM6P President Hicham El Habti, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions identifies key areas for joint programs and research. These include, but are not limited to:&nbsp;</p>

<p>As part of a mutual cooperation between Oracle, the Moroccan Government and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), the Benguerir campus of UM6P hosted a high-profile visit by Oracle Chief Executive Officer Safra Catz. Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and Deloitte Morocco Cyber Center (Deloitte MCC), a Moroccan center of expertise specialized in cybersecurity and a member of Deloitte's global network, have signed a cooperation framework agreement.</p>

<p>The Ministry of Industry and Trade, UM6P and the OCP Foundation launched on April 7, 2022 in Rabat a campaign to identify 100 startups that will benefit from the support offer of Moroccan Retail Tech Builder "MRTB". This is a national initiative within the framework of the Recovery Plan of the Trade sector.
