<p>On the 25th of January, UM6P’s Academic Services entity was delighted to receive a delegation from “Mastercard Foundation” for an exploratory visit to discuss potential collaboration between both organizations. This visit showed a clear convergence in term of values and priorities that can open the dialog to various initiatives and avenues to possible collaborations (Scholarships, Digital, 1337, Entrepreneurship…).</p>

<p>On January 23rd, 2023, the first training seminar took place at ASARI Laâyoune, for the benefit of paramedical personnel under the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection - Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra as well as for nurses from the Phosboucraa foundation. An event that symbolizes the commitment of the UM6P-Faculty of Medical Sciences (UM6P-FMS) in the development of the health ecosystem at the regional and national level.</p>

<p>On the 09th of January, the UM6P Campus in Rabat received the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad, with the presence of the President Mr. El Habti, and Mr. Abdellah Boussouf – The General Secretary of the CCME. As part of a conference, the main objective was to take advantage of the experience accumulated by Moroccans from around the world at world-renowned universities, by contributing to the current debate in several fields, notably education, training, and scientific research, and proposing ways to help reform the education system in Morocco.</p>

<p>The Digital Learning Lab recently organized a workshop on media training and slide design for 70+ professors from the 12 public Moroccan universities within a call for project in the CNDE Program. The goal of this workshop was to provide professors with the skills and knowledge needed to produce digital courses covering more than 60 accredited modules of « Licence d'Etudes Fondamentales » degree.</p>

<p>On December 15th, the UM6P-Faculty of Medical Sciences organized under the presidency of Mr. El Habti the first edition of the white coat ceremony. Created in July 2022, the UM6P-FMS follows an English-speaking program with 64 students including 54 in medicine and 19 in pharmacy, selected after an admission competition. This first promotion of the UM6P is called Baruch BENACERAF* promotion.</p>

<p>Mohammed VI Polytechnic University organized a side event of COP27, at the food systems pavilion on Science &amp; Innovation for Climate adaptation of African agriculture, on Wednesday, November 16th at 5:30 PM.</p>

<p>This side event focused on climate change impacts on agriculture and food security in Africa, as well as future action research for development strategies, for climate change adaptation, and sustainable intensification of African agriculture.</p>
