<p>From the 26<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;to the 29<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;of November, a delegation from University Mohammed VI Polytechnic took part in the 2nd phase of the program “Africa Canarias Challenge”, in which UM6P is a co-partner, the first phase of which was hosted last October at StartGate within the Benguerir Campus.</p>

<p>On the 26<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;of November, UM6P welcomed a Canadian government delegation to its Campus in Rabat, led by H.E. Mrs. Isabelle Valois, Ambassador of Canada to Morocco, and Dr. Mona Nemer, Chief Scientific Advisor to the Government of Canada.</p>

<p>The delegation explored UM6P’s initiatives and platforms, including AI Movement and 1337. The visit laid the groundwork for strengthened scientific collaboration between Canada and Morocco in education and research.</p>

<p>From the 22<sup>nd</sup>&nbsp;to the 24<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;of November, UM6P participated in the IAU 2024 International Conference held at Sophia University, Tokyo, under the framework of its active membership in the International Association of Universities (IAU). The conference featured a keynote address by UM6P President, Mr. Hicham El Habti.</p>

The Digitalization &amp; Smart Devices team presented its latest advancements in sensor technology and innovative solutions, showcasing Morocco's expertise in the field of electronic technologies.</p>

<p>On the 15<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;of November, the College of Computing participated in the 1<sup>st</sup>&nbsp;edition of the Mediterranean Forum on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Velodrome in Marseille.</p>

<p>Organized by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the forum gathered researchers and companies to explore AI solutions to regional challenges such as health, climate, water, agriculture, and energy.</p>
