<p>This week, the College of Computing concluded the second edition of HPC AI Days, a three-day event on High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), powered by the Toubkal Supercomputer, at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.</p>

<p>The program included sessions on GPU programming, numerical linear algebra, and AI workflows, along with a hackathon showcasing participants’ creativity and technical skills. Experts highlighted GPU-accelerated computations and collaborative problem-solving.</p>

<p>This week, MAHIR Center participants visited the workshop of Mr. Hassan Bourkia—writer, translator, and visual artist—for a discussion on literature and storytelling.</p>

<p>Surrounded by plants, books, and art, the group analyzed Susan Sontag's letter to Jorge Luis Borges, the joy of literature, and Borges’ reflections on One Thousand and One Nights. Mr. Bourkia discussed the text’s lasting value, its influence on Borges, and the parallels between Scheherazade’s storytelling and political power.</p>

<p>From the 30<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;of November to the 1st of December, the hackathon for the second edition of the ReBuild Challenge took place at UM6P Campus in Benguerir, followed by the semi-final on the 5th of December. This edition was organized in partnership with StartGate, OCP Foundation, the ReBuild Initiative, the Social Experience Program, l’Agence Nationale des Eaux et Forêts, and the High Atlas Foundation.</p>
