<p>On the 22^nd&nbsp; of November, UM6P welcomed a delegation from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) to the Benguerir campus.</p>

<p>The visit included presentations by 1337, the Social Innovation Lab (SIL), and the Faculty of Health Sciences (FMS). The delegation, accompanied by the UM6P Partnerships Department, explored potential collaborations in social innovation, academic research, and international mobility, paving the way for future cooperation between the two institutions.</p>

<p>On the 26^th&nbsp;of November, LIMSET, in collaboration with the Center for Doctoral Studies, inaugurated the Predoctoral Program 2024-2025 within the University’s Campus in Bneguerir.</p>

<p>In 1981, fresh out of medical school, physician-scientist Bruce Walker began his internship at Massachusetts General Hospital. One day, a young patient showed up with an unusual cluster of infections and cancers. Baffled and powerless to treat him, Walker and his colleagues could only watch as the patient quickly succumbed to the mysterious condition.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The UM6P Africa Initiative entity is announcing the release of the 63^rd&nbsp;&nbsp;edition of the Africa Initiative's Weekly News Digest. The main objective is to share with UM6P community members the latest news, opportunities, and events from across the continent.</p>

<p><b>SculpArt program</b></p>

<p>On the 26^th&nbsp;of November, OMAC kicked off the SculpArt program with painting workshops, encouraging participants to explore artistic expression through hands-on activities.&nbsp;The event offered participants an opportunity to engage in creative expression through guided, hands-on activities, fostering an appreciation for art and technique.</p>

<p><b>Art Exhibition</b></p>

<p>On the 26^th&nbsp;of November, the Technology Transfer Office, in collaboration with INPI France and OMPIC, organized the 3rd Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Day at UM6P campus in Benguerir.</p>

<p>On the 25^th&nbsp;of November, a delegation from the University of Sherbrooke visited UM6P, with one group at the Benguerir campus and another at the Rabat campus, based on their areas of interest.</p>

<p>Visualizing the potential impacts of a hurricane on people’s homes before it hits can help residents prepare and decide whether to evacuate.</p>

<p>MIT scientists have developed a method that generates satellite imagery from the future to depict how a region would look after a potential flooding event. The method combines a generative artificial intelligence model with a physics-based flood model to create realistic, birds-eye-view images of a region, showing where flooding is likely to occur given the strength of an oncoming storm.</p>

<p>On the 20^th&nbsp;of November, the Sports Department, in collaboration with the Athleets Club, Africa Business Unit, Accelab, and the Entrepreneur Academy, organized&nbsp;<i>SHE LEADS: Empowering Women in Sports and Business</i>&nbsp;within the University’s Campus in Benguerir.</p>

<p>From the 26^th&nbsp;to the 28^th&nbsp;of November, UGF hosted the 4^th&nbsp;edition of the Scientific Committees for the Multidisciplinary R&amp;D Program (APRD) in collaboration with UM6P, OCP Foundation, the Ministry of Higher Education, and the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research.</p>
