MAScIR foundation was awerded by the Senegalese president Mr. Bassirou Diomaye faye for its work in the field of diagnostics adapted to Africa`s health needs, at the 7th edition of the Galien Africa Forum, held from october 22 to 25 under the theme Health and community action in the face of climate and environmental crises in Africa

The event gathered global health leaders, researchers, and Nobel laureates to discuss sustainable strategies for tackling Africa`s pressing health challenges.

<p>Under the supervision or Dr. Hafid Griguer from DICE and Dr. Abdessamad Faik from LIMSET, Younnes Zaarour, a PhD student at UM6P, won the best IEEE young professional award at the IEEE IMAS 2024 conference in Marrakech.</p>

<p>This event, is a central forum for experts in microwave sensing and material science, showcased Youness's research on precise temperature detection in phosphate materials using advanced microwave sensors.</p>

<p>On the 7^th&nbsp;of December, the 1337 Elite’s Web Mobile Dev student club hosted a talk on the Next.js framework, facilitated by Ismail Ghallou, at UM6P Benguerir campus. The event was organized in collaboration with 1337 Coding School and Student Organizations, Leadership &amp; Engagement (SOLE).</p>

<p>From the 6^th&nbsp;to the 8^th&nbsp;of December, the Sports Department brought the 16th edition of Olympics Ndamba to UM6P campus in Benguerir, in collaboration with the Cameroonian Students Association in Morocco (CASAM).</p>

<p>The event brought together 138 Cameroonian students from across Morocco to compete in various sports including football, basketball, volleyball, handball, swimming, tennis, chess, sprint races, and the traditional Cameroonian game NDOCHI Babouches.</p>

<p>On the 10^th&nbsp;of December, UM6P welcomed the Board members of Rwanda Fertilizer Company (RFC), a joint venture between OCP Africa and the Rwandan government, to its Campus in Benguerir as part of their board meeting held on-site.</p>

<p>On the 12^th&nbsp;of December, the Career Center organized a Meet &amp; Greet with McKinsey &amp; Company within UM6P Campus in Benguerir.</p>

<p>The session introduced students to McKinsey &amp; Company’s Business Analyst Program, offering insights into career opportunities and enabling direct interaction with the firm’s experts. Students engaged by asking questions, reflecting their interest in exploring professional opportunities with global leaders.</p>

<p>On the 3^rd&nbsp;of December, OMAC held the second session of its weekly sculpture and painting workshops, organized every Tuesday at the University’s Campus in Benguerir.</p>

<p>These sessions focus on teaching artistic techniques, fostering creativity, and promoting well-being. In addition to providing a space for learning, the workshops strengthen community connections and support the university’s efforts toward cultural and social enrichment.</p>

<p>On the 11^th&nbsp;of December, SUS-Hydra, a winning team from the first edition of the ReBuild Challenge, participated in the Water Future Forum in Rabat, supported by the ReBuild Initiative.</p>

<p>On the 9^th&nbsp;and 10^th&nbsp;of December, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab organized a training session at UM6P’s campus in Benguerir for cooperatives in the Aromatic and Medicinal Plants value chain, as part of the TAGDEV 2.0 project in collaboration with 12 African universities.</p>

<p>On the 7^th&nbsp;of December, UM6P Student Affairs, in partnership with OTED (Territorial Empowerment and Development), Rehamna Province, ENAM (Ecole Nationale d'Architecture Marrakech), ENA (Ecole Nationale d'Architecture de Rabat), and OFPPT, organized a workshop at the university’s campus in Benguerir to contribute to the development of an Architectural Charter.</p>
