<p>This month, France hosted the Heads of State and Government from Francophone countries in Villers-Cotterêts and Paris for the 19^th&nbsp;edition of the Francophonie Summit.</p>

<p>From the 14^th&nbsp;to the 16^th&nbsp;of October, the African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute (ASARI) organized, in collaboration with Phosboucraa Foundation, the International Conference on Camelids within the University’s branche in Laayoune.</p>

<p>The National Industry Day 2024, in its second edition, took place on October 16th at UM6P. The event brought together M. Aziz Akhannouch, Chief of Government of Morocco, along with other government ministers, experts in Moroccan industry, and various key sectors.</p>

<p>On the 10th of October, UM6P France took part in BIG 2024, the largest gathering of companies in Europe, organized by Bpifrance in Paris.</p>

<p>On the 7th of October, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic hosted in Rabat the opening session of the first edition of the National Cloud Computing Conference, under the theme: "Unleashing cloud security: present trends, innovations and pathways to the future"</p>

<p>On the 8^th&nbsp;and 9^th&nbsp;of October, UM6P took part in the 4th edition of the World Power-to-X Summit, the key event for renewable energy players involved in the production of green hydrogen and its applications, held in Marrakech.</p>

<p>On the 9th of October, the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025 was revealed in Manchester, placing University Mohammed VI Polytechnic within the Top 500 Universities in the world. This ranking recognizes UM6P as one of the world’s leading institutions, particularly for its impact in research, its international environment, its level of student support, and its commitment to industrial innovation.</p>

<p>University Mohammed VI Polytechnic launched<b>&nbsp;its new branch, UM6P Canada, in Montreal</b>. This expansion aims to create a globally connected research environment and encourage collaborations that will accelerate capacity building and knowledge transfers between both sides of the Atlantic.</p>

<p>This week, Talent and Organizational Development (OCP) &amp; Digital Ecosystem Office (UM6P) organized a Workshop at UM6P Campus in Benguerir, centered on&nbsp;<b>“Building a Digital &amp; AI Mindset at OCP &amp; UM6P”.</b></p>

<p>Over this two-days learning program, OCP and UM6P team members got new knowledges and skills to navigate the complexities of implementing generative Al in their operations, while maximizing its benefits and minimizing risks.</p>

<p>As part of the Africa Bridge dynamics, UM6P, in partnership with the Cameroon Youth School Tech Incubator (CAYSTI), presents the&nbsp;<b>first edition of the Youth Tech Challenge Africa (YTCA 2024)</b>. This event gathers young talents from Morocco and Cameroon who are passionate about robotics and technology.</p>
