<p>From the 26^th&nbsp;to the 31^st&nbsp;of May, the College of Agriculture &amp; Environmental Sciences, in collaboration with the Chair of Soil Science (CSS) and the Agriculture Innovation and Technology Transfer Center (AITTC), organized the 9^th&nbsp;edition of the International Symposium on Soil Organic Matter (SOM2024) at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.</p>

<p>From the 29th to the 31st of May, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic participated in GITEX AFRICA 2024, held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in Marrakech.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On the 23^rd&nbsp;of May, the President Mr. Hicham El Habti accompanied by some UM6P representatives paid a visit to the University of Côte d'Azur, Nice.</p>

<p>Last week, the 1337AI Student Club, in collaboration with Math&amp;Maroc, 1337 Coding School, ADRIA Company, and SOLE, hosted the 2^nd&nbsp;edition of the ThinkAI Hackathon at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.</p>

<p>This event focused on artificial intelligence innovation and brought together numerous teams of talented students from UM6P and various universities across Morocco.</p>

<p>On the 21^st&nbsp;of May, UM6P hosted H.E. Mr. Eric Nussbaumer, President of the Swiss National Council, along with some representatives at the University’s Campus in Benguerir.</p>

<p>As part of “Vision 2030” initiative, and after setting the trajectory for UM6P collective ambitions, challenges, and proposed solutions to shape the path forward for the future of our university, with over 500 community members bringing forth over 6,000 ideas, arguments, and ratings, UM6P Campuses in Benguerir &amp; Rabat organized the Crowd Wisdom Day.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On the 24^th&nbsp;of May, UM6P and OCP Group signed a partnership agreement to become the main partners of the “Climate Impulse” project, which is expected to result in a non-stop, zero-emission world tour aboard a green hydrogen-powered aircraft by 2028. The signing ceremony took place at the University’s Campus in Benguerir.</p>

<p>On Wednesday, May 15th, UM6P received a delegation from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners* – CIP, within its campus in Benguerir.</p>

<p>The delegation members met with representatives from UM6P, OCP and InnovX colleagues to discuss collaborations and innovative projects in the energy sector, fostering potential partnerships for progress and innovation.</p>

<p>As part of our Vision 2030 continuous learning loop, volunteer facilitators from various departments have conducted a series of solutions workshops this week on high-priority topics for our community.&nbsp; These solutions workshops have brought together different departments to work on common challenges like cross-departmental collaboration, promoting open-access research, and boosting the professional growth of UM6P employees, among others.</p>
