<p>Mohammed VI Polytechnic University organized a side event of COP27, at the food systems pavilion on Science &amp; Innovation for Climate adaptation of African agriculture, on Wednesday, November 16th at 5:30 PM.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>This side event focused on climate change impacts on agriculture and food security in Africa, as well as future action research for development strategies, for climate change adaptation, and sustainable intensification of African agriculture.</p>

<p>From 9th to 11th November, the Ai movement Center of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University launched the Ai Dome, at UM6P campus in Technopolis, Rabat.</p>

<p>This Ai Dome represents the new building of the International Center for Artificial Intelligence of Morocco, which is a center of excellence in Artificial Intelligence that aims to foster the emergence of Moroccan expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences.</p>

<p>On the 3-5th of November, UM6P Benguerir’s campus hosted Applied Machine Learning Days (AMLD) Africa 2022. AMLD is one of the biggest Machine Learning conferences in Europe, founded by Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.</p>

<p>Opened by the Minister of Digital Transition Mrs. Ghita Mezzour, AMLD Africa 2022 gathered talks about the application of AI in Healthcare, Environment, Education and others interesting topics that impacts the African continent.</p>

<p>Within the framework of the signature of a partnership with the Hilton group, we were delighted to receive the board members of Hilton within the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University Campus in Benguerir, on 18th of October 2022.</p>

<p>OCP Hospitality Board members were also present alongside UM6P and OCP collaborators who worked jointly to concretize this project.</p>

<p>We were delighted to receive Mr. Georges Louis Bouchez, the President of the Reformist Movement*&nbsp;in UM6P Campus in Benguerir, on the 31st &nbsp;of October.</p>

<p>The main objective of this visit was to initiate discussions on several issues related to environment, energy, and technology on which our university is working on.</p>

<p>The Materials &nbsp;Science, Energy, and Nano-engineering department at &nbsp;UM6P launched a Master of Engineering program in Materials, Energy, and Entrepreneurship “ MEME” , on Monday, October 31st.</p>

<p>During the welcome ceremony, the President, Mr. Hicham El Habti, Pr. Jones Alami and Pr. Johan Jacquemin warmly welcomed all selected students in the new MSN building. “MEME” is a new 1-year program designed for top engineers with the ambition to join a world class research program at MSN department.</p>

<p>UM6P was pleased to welcome the Forum "Entrepreneurial Projects" of the newly promoted collaborators session, last month, at the Learning Center.</p>
