<p>e are pleased to inform you that UM6P and Morocco were proudly represented at the International Exhibition of Inventions <b>"Geneva - Inventions 2023"</b>. It is the most important annual event in the world dedicated exclusively to inventions where all the newest ones are exhibited.</p>

<p>For the first time in the history of this competition, <b>the gold medal with the congratulations of the jury</b> were awarded to a Moroccan invention in the Biotech category. The project is led by a team composed of <b>Dr. Rafiq El Alami</b>, Head of the Digital Learning Lab & the Digital Innovation Center of Excellence “DICE”, and <b>Dr. Hafid Griguer</b>, Deputy Director of DICE.</p>

<p>The winning invention is called <b>"Bio-touch"</b> and represents a worldwide advance in the field of non-invasive detection of blood sugar levels for diabetic patients, without using the pricking method.</p>

<p>The second invention called <b>"Leaf-Life"</b> was awarded the <b>silver medal </b>in the category of digital technology for agricultural management. It is a digital platform based on a new generation of sensors capable of analyzing, in real time, the need for water from plant leaves.</p>
